December 2012 - From the Pastor’s Office....

All glory and all honor belong to King Jesus! On behalf of my wife Marlene, our daughter Monique, and myself we would like to express our sincere gratitude to Bellville Faith Tabernacle for the warm and heartfelt welcome that we have received. Since the first day we entered these doors we felt at home....as if we have known some of you for years.

We want to recognize and honor the years of unselfish labour of love of Ps Hudson and Sister Maureen. It reminds me of the scripture found in 1 Cor 3 where Paul said ...
“I planted, Apollos watered, but God gives the INCREASE”. It is the Lord that will bring the increase! Our hearts are truly filled with excitement and great expectation.

As we enter the last month of the year, the thought of Christmas and gifts are all so real, but as we reflect on the Word of God we are reminded in......

Matthew 1:21
And she will bear a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for it is He who will save His people from their sins.

He came to this earth NOT to give us the sweet picture of a baby in a Bethlehem manger, but Jesus was born to die for you and me that we might be forgiven of all our sins and be reconciled again with our Heavenly Father. Jesus is the reason for the season! Christ was born in the first century, yet He belongs to all centuries. He was born a Jew, yet He belongs to all races. He was born in Bethlehem, yet He belongs to all countries.

To all our visitors and friends, thank you for your visit and we trust that this will not be the last time that we see you at Faith Tabernacle.

On behalf of my family and myself we wish you a very peaceful and safe festive season. May you have a blessed Christmas and only God's very best for 2013 !
